81st Annual Conference · November 17–19, 2026 · Sacramento

Conserving California:
Local Solutions, Shared Future

This conference gathers people doing conservation work on the ground across the state, including RCD staff and directors, agency partners, and the organizations that support this work.

About the Conference

Come Find Your People

Hosted by the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts.

Every November, the RCD network gathers to compare notes. This year the program runs from soil health tools and post-fire site preparation to wildlife connectivity, compost policy, prevailing wage, youth education, and more. Six breakout blocks, plus committee meetings, the CARCD Annual Meeting, awards, and the Speak-Off.

Sessions are led by people who do the work: district managers, agency staff, advisors, and partners from across California. Expect practical detail, honest lessons from early adopters, and plenty of time in the exhibit hall and at the tables in between.

Whether you are new to this work or have been at it for decades, there is a seat for you in Sacramento.
