CARCD is dedicated to supporting the RCD network to serve all of California’s communities. To achieve this goal, the CARCD Community Engagement and Collaboration program is focusing on:

• Providing funding to support RCDs in expanding outreach and technical assistance to producers and communities who have historically not been engaged and served.
• Collaborating with partners who serve historically underserved communities and bringing their resources to RCDs
• Implementing principles in the RCD network to support/retain staff who have ties and life experiences that represent the multiplicity of communities in California and enhance our ability to better serve all Californians.
