CARCD has an agreement with CDFA through their Conservation Agriculture Planning Grants Program (CAPGP) to understand the true cost of Carbon Farm Planning in California. This agreement ends in December 2025, after which CARCD will provide aggregated data to CDFA to evaluate if the current reimbursement rates for Carbon Farm Plans are adequate.

If you have received CAPGP funds to develop a Carbon Farm Plan, please fill out the CDFA CAPGP Carbon Farm Plan - CARCD Fund Intake Form to provide relevant data related to the cost of completing your Carbon Farm Plan, and to be considered for reimbursement for costs that exceed the current rate of $10k. Carbon Farm Plans that exceed 10k will be considered for reimbursement by CARCD only if this survey is completed end to end. Please note that only costs exceeding the 10k payment rate for CFPs are eligible for reimbursement from CARCD; other CAPGP plans will not be considered.
